You can find your gate code on the Public Storage App, your Public Storage account, or receive it via text message.

Download the Public Storage App, log in to your account, and click “Storage Space.”
Log in to your Public Storage account and click “Summary.”
Text the word “OPEN” to 28342 to receive your gate code via text message.

* All gate codes start with a (*) and end with a (#).

Can I Change My Gate Code?

Yes — simply contact your local Public Storage facility to change your gate code.

Does My Gate Code Work on Doors and Elevators?

Your gate code works on all keypad-entry gates, doors, and elevators. For customers requiring unique access codes for hallway doors, those will be shared separately.
