What Should I Do if My AutoPay Fails?
If you’ve set up AutoPay and your payment fails, check your payment details—such as your account number, zip code, and funds available.
If Your AutoPay Fails, Try These Steps:
In Your Public Storage App or Online Account:
- Double-check the payment account number we have on file for you.
- Ensure the payment zip code on file is accurate.
- Ensure the expiration date for the card on file is current.
Check with Your Financial Institution:
- Make sure there are enough funds available in your account to cover payment.
- Verify that your account details haven’t changed.
Still Stuck?
- Log in to the Public Storage App or your online account and try setting up a different payment method by clicking on "Payments," and then "Add a new payment method." You can find more info HERE.
- Head to our website to make a one-time payment.
