How Can I Set Up and Manage AutoPay?

You can set up and manage AutoPay in the "Payments" section of your Public Storage App or Public Storage account.

Set It and Forget It!

Set up AutoPay in the Public Storage App or log in to your Public Storage account, click "Payments," and then "Turn On AutoPay."

To Change Your AutoPay Payment Method:

  • In the Public Storage App: Click "Payments," ensure AutoPay is turned "On," click on the currently enrolled payment method, and scroll to the "Add a new payment method" option.
  • Online: Log in to your Public Storage account, click "Payments," then "Manage AutoPay," and under Payment Method, click "Change."

If Your Automatic Payment Does Not Go Through:

  • Check your payment status and history.
  • Make sure the payment method connected to your AutoPay is current.
  • If your payment does not post, check with your financial institution.
  • Provide proof of payment from your financial institution to your nearest Public Storage Location.
